The L.E.A.D Awards celebrate achievement in driving greater diversity and inclusion across the Australian Public Service.

The awards highlight innovative, impactful, and resourceful organisational strategies, team initiatives, and individual efforts that have affected meaningful change in diversity, equity, and inclusion.

By recognising these accomplishments, the awards aim to inspire others to embark on their journeys toward enhancing the diversity and inclusiveness of their workplaces and therefore better outcomes for Australia.
Eligibility Requirements

We encourage organisations, teams, and individuals within the APS to submit entries for these awards. All organisations, teams, and individuals are eligible to nominate themselves or others for these awards.

Please note that if the project involves other organisations, external contractors, or collaborators, only the APS employee(s) will be eligible for the award.

Nominations for all awards categories must come within two years from the inception of either the strategy or the implementation of the approach.
Eligibility commences for all work from 01.01.2022 and you must be able to demonstrate significant activity or impact within the last two years.
