LA Pride 2022 Community Grand Marshal Nominations
Each year, the LA Pride Parade features a community grand marshal to honor a person, group, or nonprofit whose extraordinary accomplishments, contributions, or dedication has benefitted the LGBTQ+ community of LA. Whether their work is in social justice, health & wellness, education, civil rights, economic equality, or simply community-building, we want to recognize and celebrate them, and we need your help to do it.
Past community grand marshals have included PFLAG LA, The Trevor Project, Rev. Troy Perry, the Prop 8 lawsuit plaintiffs, and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
Your nomination can be an individual activist or advocate, a group, or a nonprofit. They should be local to the LA area, and have made a positive and meaningful impact on the LGBTQ+ community. Please do not nominate a celebrity. We have a separate process for that category. The Community Grand Marshal is reserved for a COMMUNITY MEMBER.
The chosen nominee will be announced in the near future, and featured in the LA Pride Parade on Sunday, June 12!
