1. The aim of this survey.

In March 2025, the UN General Assembly will debate changes to the UN's policies on entry-level recruitment and (unpaid) internships. Governments and the UN's Human Resources practitioners will participate in this debate. But what about the young people they want to attract? This survey has been set up to collect the views of young people from across the globe who are considering, or starting, international careers (in intergovernmental or regional organizations, international financial institutions, non-governmental organizations etc.).

In this 15 minute survey you will be asked questions about your career expectations and your motivation for applying to, and working in, international organizations. Your participation and responses are completely anonymous.

The survey results will be part of a larger study to be published in Nov. 2024 on how to prepare and attract young talent to international organizations undertaken by ReformWorks and Talentum Consulting. ReformWorks is an independent think tank focused on management of international organizations and Talentum Consulting is specialized in talent management in international organizations. By completing this survey, you agree to have your responses included as part of this study and potential future comparative studies.

We thank you for participating and sharing your views. Your voice matters!
