iNEMI High Speed Signaling Connector Metrology Project Survey
The demands of high-speed signaling bandwidth and miniaturization integration are driving the innovations and diversifications of the connectors for the semiconductor and electronics industries. This, in turn, drives the need for characterizing signal integrity of sockets and connectors and the need for consistent measurement methodologies. The iNEMI High-Speed Signaling Connector Project is working to calibrate the connector high-speed metrology through cross-company correlation and to drive a standardized process and data formats among the industrial partners.
The first of the two phases for this project is focused on understanding of the capabilities/interests of participating companies and defining the test strategy for cross-company correlation. The information gathered from this survey will lay a solid foundation for the project scope and ensure that the common interests of the participants is covered.
