The Friends of the Museum's mission is to help serve and strengthen the Children’s Museum of SWLA through volunteering in the areas of general maintenance, community outreach, programming and education, and fundraising.

Our "Friends of the Museum" program is a very important group of people that like helping the museum and serving the community through volunteering. Volunteers are needed at different times throughout the year to help with such things as painting, cleaning, cutting out art materials and preparing projects, fundraising and community events. If you are interested in becoming a "Friend of the Museum," please complete the following questionnaire. *Volunteers will be responsible for obtaining a state background check with the Louisiana State Police. Those that teach for CPSB, the Diocese of Lake Charles, or any other accredited school will not need to supply a background check.
