To determine "ownership", review your company's capitalization table and if >50% of your company is owned by an individual(s) from underrepresented groups it qualifies. To determine "leadership", identify the highest management position at the company. If that position is held by an individual from an underrepresented group, it qualifies. If that position is shared by 2 or more individuals, consider the individual that holds the largest percentage of ownership. If the highest management is the Board of Directors, determine if more than >25% of directors are from underrepresented groups.
