Fall 2020 Resource Parent Conference Planning Survey

Resource Parent conferences are hosted semi annually through a partnership between the Child Welfare Academy, Maryland Resource Parent Association, Maryland DHS, and the local Departments of Social Services.

Given ongoing health concerns about large trainings and gathering, we have made the decision NOT to host an in person Fall Resource Parent Conference. We DO hope to plan a possible online conference in October, with your feedback below.

* 2. An online conference can take many shapes, and be attended via smart phone, tablet, or computer. Please indicate below which formats/options you would be interested in attending?

One half-day (Saturday) - Larger group Keynote session, Two (1.5-2 hour) break out trainings in small groups, with small breaks in between.

Conference sessions spread out over a few days - Larger group Keynote session as a kick off, followed by several shorter training sessions throughout a week.

Virtual Vendors where you would be able to view community resources in virtual breakout rooms and speak to representatives with any questions about their services.
