DESCRIPTION OF THE EIGHT AREAS OF THE LOCAL CONTROL FUNDING FORMULA:

Listed after the eight LCFF areas is a brief example of what they might include.

CREDENTIALS/MATERIALS: Basic services such as appropriately assigned teachers and instructional materials, adequate school facilities.

ADOPT STANDARDS (COMMON CORE IMPLEMENTATION): Rigorous curriculum design, Teacher and Classified Staff professional development.

COURSE OF STUDY: AVID, Band, Instrumental Music, Advanced Math.

PUPIL OUTCOMES: Community Service, Initiative, Creativity.

PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT: Support for students, Translators/Interpreters, School Site Council, PTA, Parent Portal.

PUPIL ACHIEVEMENT: Class Size, Curriculum, Teacher Professional Development.

SCHOOL CLIMATE: Atmosphere, Relationships (teachers making connections with students).

PUPIL ENGAGEMENT: Technology, Attendance, Teaching Strategies
