First Nations Economic Development (Partnership) Survey

In September 2023, the Government announced a commitment to scope a First Nations Economic Development Partnership (the Partnership) with the Coalition of Peaks and other organisations, in line with the National Agreement on Closing the Gap. You can find more details about the Partnership here.

Throughout June 2024, the Coalition of Peaks are leading engagements with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and other interested stakeholders on what would make the biggest difference to close the gap in economic development outcomes. What you say will help inform the finalisation of the Partnership, including its focus, priorities and governance arrangements.

One way to have your say is through this survey.

• The survey is being conducted by the Coalition of Peaks.

• We particularly want to hear from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and community-controlled organisations. The survey is open to anyone who wants to respond.

• There are four parts to the survey
• It should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

• You can complete this survey anonymously, but you also have the option to share your name or organisation.

• If you’d like to share a more detailed response, the Coalition of Peaks is also hosting an open submissions process where you can provide written feedback, videos, or voice recordings. You can find more about the submissions process here.
