SEEKING PUBLIC INPUT
The City of Alameda is seeking community input on public access solutions and recreational recommendations for six public pathways along Fernside Boulevard and Eastshore Drive. Please join us at a Input Session to review the feasibility report findings and provide public feedback:

Community Input Sessions
--Saturday, October 6, 10am-12noon
--Thursday, October 11, 6:30–8:30pm
Both meetings will be at City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue, in Council Chambers on the 3rd Floor

Facilitated Walk of the Pathways on Fernside and Eastshore 
--Saturday, September 29, 2–4pm 
Meet at Lincoln Park, on Fernside Boulevard between Liberty Avenue and Central Avenue. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. No dogs please. 

SURVEY OVERVIEW
If you are unable to attend an Input Session, the following survey mirrors the content that will be discussed. The survey is divided into five sections and should not take more than eight minutes to complete:
1)      General questions about the pathways
2)      The three pathways along Fernside Boulevard
3)      The three pathways along Eastshore Boulevard
4)      Budget Challenge Simulation
5)      Area to provide us with additional feedback

BACKGROUND
In April 2018, consultants for the City of Alameda with a background in planning, coastal engineering, and civil engineering began conducting a feasibility study to determine the potential and best uses at six public access points to the waterway along Fernside Avenue and Eastshore Avenue. The report is available at www.alamedaca.gov/publicaccess and provides an implementable framework for accessible public access along the Alameda waterfront from High Street to the San Leandro Bay.
