Early Childhood Letter Grade Profiles
The Louisiana Department of Education is seeking feedback on the two sample early childhood letter grade profiles released in September 2014. Please note that these are SAMPLE letter grade profiles; these are not real data or numbers. These sample letter grade profiles will be used in field tests for the 2014-15 school year in seven community networks (Ascension, Calcasieu, Iberville, Lafayette, New Orleans, Ouachita, Rapides). Based on this field test and your feedback, these letter grade profiles will be revised in Spring 2015.
The Program Letter Grade Profile will be used to evaluate each individual early childhood program at the site level.
The Community Network Pilot Letter Grade Profile will include data from all of the participating programs in a community and will be used to evaluate the community supports and enrollment for early childhood programs.
For 2015-2016, all publicly-funded programs will participate in a learning year with the revised letter grade profiles.
