About our survey

Healthwatch Kingston upon Thames is your local health and social care champion and we are working collaboratively with Kingston Voluntary Action to deliver this community engagement.

Through this survey, we would like to better understand the health and care needs of children under-5 and their families in Kingston.

We know that setting the foundations for health and wellbeing during pregnancy and in the early years of life is crucial to ensure every child has the best start in life.

Whether you are the parent or carer of a child / children receiving services, your views are important to us.

Services cannot make improvements without hearing your views and experiences. As well as encouraging those that who run local services to act on what matters to people like you, we anonymise and share what we hear from local people with the NHS, the Council and other decision makers, to provide insight for consideration in future service developments.

Healthwatch Kingston would like to find out about your views about and experiences of using NHS and social care services in Kingston, as part of our 'Early years: Health and care needs of under-5s and their families' community engagement.

We will produce a report with recommendations from our findings. We will not include your name or contact details. We will keep all views and experiences shared with us anonymous and your personal data confidential. We may include quotes from your responses in Healthwatch Kingston reports, however, any personal details will be removed.

Healthwatch Kingston will send our final report to South West London NHS, councils and other decision makers to help improve the delivery of future services. Healthwatch Kingston will publish this report on our website and insights will also be shared with Healthwatch England and the Care Quality Commission who make sure that the government put people at the heart of care nationally.

What you tell us will be used and stored for the purpose of this project (as detailed above) and held in accordance with the Healthwatch Kingston upon Thames’ Privacy Statement which can also be provided in paper form on request via info@healthwatchkingston.org.uk. or by telephone: 0203 326 1255 (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and please leave a message.
