In 2025, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Space Architecture Technical Committee (SATC) will publish the first Space Architecture Decadal Survey, representing consensus views about this specialized field.

Space Architecture is the theory and practice of designing and building habitable environments for [use in] outer space.1

Questionnaire – We are using this anonymous questionnaire to collect consistent data. The three parts will take about a half hour to complete. You may save-and-exit before finishing and submitting but you will not be able to return to the survey and resume. You may also skip any question but some questions may require a 'None' or 'N/A' response to advance.

White Papers – We are also collecting white papers, which are an open-ended opportunity for stakeholders to explain their views and priorities about Space Architecture focused on the next decade. White papers need not be long, elaborate, or polished. Please consider submitting one (or more!) using the link at the end of the questionnaire.

The Questionnaire and White Paper call are both open through August 31.
