A message to your fellow Members: When I sought appointment to the Board of Directors several years ago, it was with a singular thought: “To assist the Greater DAOR in what I anticipated to be turbulent times we faced regarding the advancement of technology to the detriment of our realtor community. No one was prepared for the health crisis that changed the world, much less the way we conducted business. With amazing leadership, a phenomenal Executive Director and dedicated board, the Association was able to navigate the crisis, remain solvent and positioned to support our realtor community in every way possible. We continued to fight the political and legal battles and address the near-continuous change to the way we conducted business. We continued to support our community at large in spite of the obstacles. As tough as it was, it was a pleasure to see progress throughout the Pandemic. There is a reason for our success and it boils down to committed professionals doing the best they can to support our Association and it’s members. It was a privilege serving with this group in spite of the unprecedented challenges. A privilege I don’t take lightly and a community I hope to serve for years to come.

A message to your fellow Members: As a 2nd generation Realtor, over the last decade, I have watched the industry evolve before my eyes and during the last year, I have seen that change compounded. The real estate market is approaching a perfect storm of unique factors: fierce economic challenges; an unprecedented number of rent and mortgage delinquencies and forbearances; moratoriums on evictions and foreclosures; record low inventory; a technological shift and focus on data and AI; and a number of technology companies and institutional investors entering the market and our MLS's… all compounded by the global pandemic. Shifts like these create challenges AND opportunity, and I hope you will allow me to earn your vote and the chance to contribute my experience to the Board, so that together we can serve and guide all of our membership to THRIVE in the coming market while honoring, above all, that people’s lives (yours, your families' and your clients'), hang in the balance. It is my belief that the REALTOR® is a vital part of the real estate process and that we, the Associations, must do everything in our power to ensure the integrity of our industry and protect our agents to keep them at the center of the transaction and their clients' world. We can only do that through education AND legislation and my commitment to YOU, the DAOR Membership, is to keep this belief at the center of my work with DAOR if and when I am elected as a Director. Thank you for this opportunity to serve.
