Submission of NGO Written Statements - 2025 Commission for Social Development (CSocD63) |
NGO’s in consultative status with ECOSOC (General or Special Status) can submit their written statement to the CSocD63. The priority theme is “Strengthening solidarity, social inclusion and social cohesion to accelerate the delivery of the commitments of the Copenhagen Declaration on Social Development and Programme of Action of the World Summit for Social Development as well as the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”.
General Instructions:
- NGOs should ONLY use the world template in the form of submission.
- Statements by organizations in general consultative status with ECOSOC may not exceed 1,900 words; statements by organizations in special consultative status with ECOSOC may not exceed 1,400 words.
- NGOs can submit written statements ONLY in English.
- NGOs in General and Special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) may submit written statements on the Commission's priority theme, in accordance with the ECOSOC resolution 1996/31.
- NGOs are strongly encouraged to submit joint statements in collaboration with other NGOs in consultative status with ECOSOC.
The deadline for submission is 8 November 2024.
