  2. Side-events should be related to the CSocD63 priority theme on “Strengthening solidarity, social inclusion and social cohesion to accelerate the delivery of the commitments of the Copenhagen Declaration on Social Development and Programme of Action of the World Summit for Social Development as well as the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”.
  3. Priority will be given to multi-stakeholder events that include Member States, Intergovernmental Organizations, UN agencies and civil society organizations.
  4. Side event organizers are requested to notify the Division for Inclusive Social Development (DISD) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) about any additional side events they have planned. These events will be added to the official list of side events that will be published on the CSocD63 website.
  5. The deadline for submission of online application forms for side-events is 2 December 2024 (12 am EST – New York time).
  6. Please note that UN DESA plans to provisionally publish a list of confirmed side-events by 20 December 2024.
