Community Consultation: Stage 2 - New Student Uniforms

As part of our school's commitment to providing our students with an authentic experience, we are reviewing our student uniform. Particularly in regards to offering different uniforms through the different stages of learning our students will transition through. 
 
This survey is the second stage in gauging student, community and staff voice. Previously, some basic designs were presented, along with a few questions around the different uniforms for stages of learning (e.g. Primary, Jr secondary, Sr secondary). Key results/insights from the Stage 1 survey include:

- Design number 1 was ranked 1st by over 70% of respondents, and as such, this is the design chosen to take to the next step.

- In question 3 of the previous survey, quite a number of responses commented on including an indigenous pattern to reflect and represent our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, families and staff. This has been incorporated in this round of designs.

- Further, there were a few people who wanted to see the existing uniform in different colourways, as a comparison, and/or to choose from. 

Also for reference, we do have senior/school leavers' shirts and jerseys for those students in Year 12 each year. The Year 11 cohort vote on their shirt design for the following year. This process is about to begin for this year's seniors. 

 

From here, we are hoping to progress to the final design. We will then open a vote, before the final design is then endorsed by the P&C and the school executive. 
 
The hope is that we will have this process complete by the end of Term 3, early Term 4, so that initial orders can be placed ready for the 2023 school year. 
 
The below designs are preliminary mock ups, and the colours may look different depending on your screen and computer settings. The core colours are maroon, silver and white.  
 
This second stage of community consultation (this survey) will be open until Monday October 3.
