1. Criminal–Epidemiological Investigation Workshop Evaluation

Objectives: By the end of this workshop, participants will have:
1. Compare law enforcement investigations and threat assessment to public health epidemiological and medical investigations,
2. Assess CDC and FBI assets and capabilities for law enforcement and public health by outlining expertise and resources of each discipline,
3. Demonstrate at least two types of information gathered by law enforcement and public health and how sharing information can advance both investigations, 
4. Assess potential solutions to overcome public health epidemiological and medical investigations challenges while meeting the needs of both law enforcement and public health disciplines
5. Identify and agree on next steps.
6. Illustrate at least two best practices for conducting a joint threat assessment and patient interview, 
7. Assemble a joint investigations protocol for public health epidemiological and medical investigations, and 
8. Identify informal contacts prior to incident to facilitate collaborative relationships.
