We are looking for our next BSSH Council Trainee Representative to serve for a two year term from March 2025 - February 2027.

We are looking for a BSSH member who is not within a year of consultant appointment.

The Council Trainee Representative plays a vital role providing a trainee view on the Society’s activities and is expected to:
  • Attend and participate in BSSH Council meetings (currently 4 full day meetings a year)
  • Represent and advocate for the views of trainees at Council meetings
  • Support Council in achieving the Society's aims through the delivery of its strategic plan 2024 - 2028
  • Participate in working groups on relevant issues
The 2025 Council meeting dates are:
  • Friday 7th March – Derby (exact location TBC) face to face
  • Friday 26th September 09:00 – 17:00 Virtual
  • Wednesday 26th November 13:00 – 17:00 East side Rooms Birmingham face to face
