Connected Cars
Why take the survey?
Despite uncertainties about when exactly cars that are connected, autonomous, shared and electric (CASE) will arrive in significant numbers, the car industry remains committed to bringing them to market.
Two huge drivers of this are legislative pressure and changing consumer behavior; the former demanding fewer emissions and the latter driven significantly by mass adoption of smartphones.
This combination has led to an increase in consumer expectations when it comes to their cars. ADAS are taken for granted, while infotainment options and connected car functions that bring the smartphone experience into the car are almost non-negotiable.
As a result, it seems we’ve now reached the point when the connected car – and all of its strengths and weaknesses – is really upon us. And that makes this the perfect time to check in with those who are working to make connected cars a reality. So if you work with connected car technology in any form, we would like to hear what you have to say.
The survey is designed to take no more than five minutes and we would be extremely grateful if you could take the time to complete it. The survey is completely anonymous, and the results will be used for Automotive IQ’s Connected Cars 2019 report. This will be published early in 2020 and will offer an accurate reflection of the state of connected cars right now.
