Climate-Smart Southern Piedmont Diversified Vegetable Program: Organic and Conventional
Thank you for your interest in learning more about Farmer Participation in the Climate-Smart Southern Piedmont Diversified Vegetable Program. We are looking for diverse vegetable farmers in the Southern Piedmont region who are willing to commit to growing climate smart commodities on 1 – 10 acres of land for 4 years.
Participation in the program is outlined below:
- Acreage may not be enrolled in other NRCS cost-share programs for same practices
- Willingness to follow project planting and cover cropping rotation provided
- Agreement to utilize provided technical assistance related to the project
- Commitment to input data via phone application
- Participation in related practice training
- Approval to allow project team scheduled access to enrolled acres for data collection
