Roula Kikhia, Humanitarian Advisor for Save the Children, will discuss the impact of the ongoing war in Gaza on children.

Thousands of children have been injured, and over 17,000 children have lost their parents or are separated from their parents.
Palestinian children in Gaza are also dying of malnutrition and disease. In mid-March, the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) partnership warned "famine is imminent as 1.1 million people, half of Gaza, experience catastrophic food insecurity."
The talk will discuss the scope and complexities of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the effects of the war on children's rights, protection, and mental health.
