Tech Days East 2019: Presentation Proposals |
Please use this form to submit proposals to present breakout sessions at a Tech Days East workshop.
All topics related to the intersection of technology and libraries are welcome!
Possibilities include, but are not limited to, gadgets, coding, apps, digitization, VR / AR, innovative tools, social media, privacy, STEM / STEAM, makerspaces, Google services, data visualization, and teaching tech to patrons.
> Presentations might focus on serving specific audiences, like preschoolers, tweens, teens, older adults, people with varied abilities, etc.
> Attendees of previous Tech Days workshops have requested sessions that ...
- are no-cost or low-cost to replicate
- include Bring Your Own Device hands-on training on a specific thing (e.g. Canva, Google Drive, etc.)
- have options for use by patrons of all ages and varied abilities
- provide ideas for streamlining workflow or improving customer experiences
- demonstrate a tool, explain criteria used to choose it, suggest policies regarding it, and give examples of how patrons engage with it

You may submit proposals for presentations that are 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 60 minutes in length. Presentations of 15 or 30 minutes in length will be matched with presentations on other topics to fill one 60-minute session.
Workshops in the Tech Days East series will be September 10, 11, and 12, 2019 -- you are encouraged to present your session at more than one workshop. All presenters receive complimentary lunch and mileage reimbursement.
