Last year, the CDC began funding the Public Health Infrastructure Grant Program, providing much needed funding to revitalize and strengthen the public health workforce. CHLI serves as the Innovation Hub Lead for Region 9 (including CA), providing technical assistance and support as it relates to these funds.
We know that through these funds many of you may be looking to recruit recent graduates into vacancies and/or new positions, and we’d like to support you! Our team is building relationships with California schools and programs of public health in collaboration with the California Alliance of Academics and Communities for Public Health Equity to connect recent public health graduates to job opportunities in local public health and other public health services opportunities across California. We want to better support these pathways for recent graduates to launch their careers in public health.
