Boot Brush Station Locations

The Manistee Conservation District in partnership with the Northwest Michigan Invasive Species Network, will be identifying locations in Manistee County, specifically highly trafficked trails or public access areas that are in need of boot brush stations. Boot brush stations help in removing plant seeds that have hitched a ride on the bottoms of shoes so that they are not spread to other areas. If you feel as though a specific location could benefit from a boot brush station, please let us know so that we can identify areas that would be best suited for these. Please note that certain locations or properties may not be viable for installation depending on the ownership of that particular property. Your suggestions and recommendations are highly appreciated. We will give an update on the chosen locations once we have solidified those places.

Thank you for your feedback.
