Crime Victim Best Practices Self-Assessment |
1. Best Practices Guidelines: Self-Assessment
1 / 58 |
Welcome to the Best Practices Guidelines Self-Assessment. By now, you should have received a copy of the Guidelines and had a chance to become familiar with them.
This self-assessment is really a first step in preparing for your Best Practices Development Interview and ultimately completing your Development and Resource Plan.
You may, however, find this document useful beyond preparation for your Development Interview. We encourage you use this assessment for your own internal planning and development purposes.
The survey is brief and you will receive a consolidated report back that will give you an idea of the best practices in which your organization is strong and areas in which you may wish for organizational development. Please note that your program specialist will review your self-assessment report prior to your Best Practices Development Interview. This report, in conjunction with the interview, will give you and your program specialist insight into your program's strengths and opportunities for capacity building.
If you have questions about this assessment or the report, please call Danette Buskovick at 651-201-7309 or e-mail her at Danette.Buskovick@state.mn.us. Danette is the Director of the Minnesota Statistical Analysis Center in the Office of Justice Programs, at the Minnesota Dept. of Public Safety. She will be responsible for managing this self-assessment and completing your self-assessment report.
