TAP Partner Application Guidance:
To begin the application process for your organization to become a TAP Network Partner, please complete the form below. When completing the application, it is important that your organization demonstrates how the mission and objectives align with advancing the SDG16+ and accountability for the 2030 Agenda. Furthermore, the application should also demonstrate how your organization’s work embodies the principles of transparency, accountability and participation. Successful applications provide sufficient relevant detail needed to paint a clear picture of their organization’s mission, vision, objectives and work as it relates to TAP’s shared values as a network. 

TAP Network Partners are expected to outline concrete, clear and actionable commitments or objectives to implementing SDG16 and/or towards accountability for the 2030 Agenda more broadly.  The more specific organizations can be when submitting commitments, the stronger the commitment and subsequent follow-up will be. It is also important for these commitments to fit the S.M.A.R.T. criteria: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound. 

Since these commitments will be showcased publicly on TAP’s Partner Action Platform, it is important to highlight the great work and realistic but lofty ambitions of your organization, and to clearly outline how you will go about implementing this commitment. About TAP Partners
The TAP Network’s engagement structures are broken down into two main categories: “Members” and “Partners,” with each enjoying very different sets of privileges and benefits. 

TAP Network “Partners” are organizations that take part in the substantive work of the TAP Network, and, and are identified as TAP’s key champions and go-to implementation partners. These Partners make specific commitments outlining their work towards advancing SDG16+ and accountability for the 2030 Agenda and pledge to report on their commitment in the future. In exchange for making these commitments advancing TAPs collective mission and objectives, TAP Partners enjoy an exclusive set of benefits and privileges, and can benefit from direct support from the TAP Network - both technical and financial.  Benefits include, for example: exclusive access to TAP funding, leadership opportunities in coordination and engagement mechanisms, as well as networking and advocacy opportunities. One key benefit for TAP Partners is being featured on the TAP Network Partner Action Platform, a dynamic registry of actionable commitments to SDG16+ and accountability for the 2030 Agenda.  While being one of TAP Network’s main advocacy tools, the registry not only works to promote the wide-ranging work of our partners and civil society as a whole, but provides a foundation for our network partners to build more interactive and dynamic opportunities for engagement.

Outlining your commitment: 
What kinds of commitments are expected of TAP Network Partners?
TAP Network Partners are expected to outline their commitment to implementing SDG16 or towards accountability for the 2030 Agenda more broadly. These commitments should be clear and succinct and have very clear objectives. All TAP Partner applications undergo a thorough review process overseen by the TAP Steering Committee.  Part of this process includes third party vetting.  If possible, please include the name of an organization and contact that could assist in this process.  All TAP Partner applications received will be given equal consideration regardless of your ability to provide an answer to this question.
