The Bayshore Bikeway is a regionally significant 24-mile separated bike path that circles San Diego Bay. The bikeway travels through the cities of San Diego, National City, Chula Vista, and Coronado. 18 miles of the bikeway have been built to date and uses railroad, utility, and other public rights-of-way. The City is developing planning documents to construct an off-street bike path to close the gap between E Street and F Street/Lagoon Drive. This .25 mile bike path would travel along the inactive rail corridor to create a separated right-of-way for the exclusive use of bicyclists and pedestrians.
