Astrobiology Diversity and Inclusion Survey 2024

You are invited to participate in a study to collect baseline demographic information on the astrobiology community and to identify whether gender and race impact research careers in astrobiology. Your responses will help to better understand whether such issues exist in the astrobiology community, to what degree, and what kind of mechanisms can be developed to address them.

The questionnaire should take about 15 minutes to complete.

Your participation in this research is voluntary, and you may decline to participate without risk. While it is useful to be complete in your responses to the survey, you may skip any questions, and you are free to withdraw from the study at any time until your survey is returned (we have no way of identifying your particular responses). We will not link your survey responses to you in any way, and we ask that you do not add identifying information to the survey to ensure that the survey responses will be anonymous. In addition, individual responses will be kept confidential, and information from the survey will only be reported in aggregate. As such, we do not anticipate that your participation poses any risk.
