AICPA & CIMA Global Women to Watch |
The AICPA & CIMA and the Women’s Initiatives Executive Committee want to recognize women who have made significant contributions to the accounting profession, or who demonstrate characteristics that have enabled them to become leaders in the profession.
AICPA & CIMA’s Global Women to Watch will recognize women throughout the year beginning in 2025 through various channels that may include social media, online journals and blogs, podcasts, LinkedIn Live series, and more.
Women can only be recognized once, so that we can extend the recognition to a broader group of women. Women must be members of the AICPA or CIMA to be highlighted through the new program.
CPA Practice Advisor will continue the annual Most Powerful Women in Accounting recognition, a successful program that recognizes C-suite and executive-level leaders.
The Nomination Process
You may nominate multiple women, or even yourself, but only one nomination form is needed per nominee. The members of the Women’s Initiatives Executive Committee will review nominations and select the women to recognize.
Recognition can be given in two categories, Experienced Leaders and Emerging Leaders, which are defined below.
Evidence of every item listed is not required for consideration, but nominees should have made significant contributions in at least two of the criteria listed below under the appropriate category in which they are nominated. Selected nominees will be notified directly.
Nominations for the AICPA & CIMA Global Women to Watch 2025 calendar year are due January 15, 2025.
