United Way Child Care Expansion Survey

The United Way prioritizes increasing access to quality early care and education. One way to address this goal is to expand the existing capacity of child care providers to increase enrollment. We would love to learn how we can help providers maximize square footage to increase slots. Please take a few moments to complete the survey. While we know that ongoing expenses such as salaries are pain points, we’re evaluating the impact of grants to improve facilities. Examples of projects could be funding to improve classrooms, bathrooms and/or kitchens. Grants would be available to centers and family child care providers who support struggling parents across the County.
