CUR Engineering Division: Student Research Video Competition 2025 |
We are excited that you will be participating in NCUR and presenting your engineering research. The CUR Engineering Division would like to highlight your research! By completing this application, you are allowing CUR-Engineering to share your research video to the public. You will also be eligible to be recognized publicly and potentially receive a cash award. All submissions will be reviewed and award decisions will be announced in May 2025.
Guidelines for video submission:
* Please record yourself discussing the research that you are presenting at NCUR this year. The video must be no longer than 60 seconds. Visuals are not required but may be helpful.
* Videos must be posted on YouTube and the setting must be either set to "unlisted" or "public".

Eligibility:
* All students presenting research in an engineering discipline at NCUR 2025 and submits a valid application by April 7, 2025.
* Monetary awards cannot be sent abroad. International students will receive a certificate only.

Videos will be reviewed based on the following criteria.
* Clarity of Purpose
* Appropriateness of Methodology
* Quality of Analysis and/or Interpretation
* Ability to Present the Research or Creative Activity
* Organization of the Presented Materials
* Value of Research or Creative Activity to the Discipline
* Delivery/ Communication
* Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
* Clarity of Purpose
* Appropriateness of Methodology
* Quality of Analysis and/or Interpretation
* Ability to Present the Research or Creative Activity
* Organization of the Presented Materials
* Value of Research or Creative Activity to the Discipline
