Draft Priorities and Policies
The following draft priorities and policies have been developed for the City's new Comprehensive Plan, City Plan 2040. Working groups used input collected from the initial Open House meetings last August, responses from an online survey administered last Fall, and their own experiences to draft priorities and policies built around the 6 main principles of the plan:
- Livable Built Environment
- Harmony with Nature
- Resilient Economy
- Responsible Regionalism
- Interwoven Equity
- Healthy Community
Please review the draft information below and add any comments, suggestions, additions, or edits. We will use your input along with the comments received from our Open House community meetings this March/April to update the draft policies and start creating City Plan 2040.
