Conservation practice adoption and feasibility for Washington tree fruit |
Purpose and Objectives
We are surveying experts and practitioners (i.e., farmers, researchers, agronomists, etc.) to learn more about the conservation production practices in Washington tree fruit cropping systems. The goal is to better understand the degree of conservation practice adoption across the State and the logistical and economic feasibility of implementing these practices.
Please base your answers on your experiences, perspectives, and/or research. You may also wish to consider resources from organizations such as Washington State University's Cooperative Extension Center, USDA NRCS, Washington's Department of Agriculture, etc. Finally, an “I don’t know or N/A” option has been provided if you feel you do not have sufficient knowledge to answer a question or the practice is not applicable for your context.
The data you provide will be used to launch the Saving Tomorrow’s Agriculture Resources (STAR) program in Washington. The information will serve as the basis for constructing STAR field forms and scoring sheets. It will also help us ground the STAR program in what is agronomically feasible.
Thank you for your time in responding to this survey. Your input is sincerely valued.
