ARTIST IN RESIDENCE - APPLICATION

Goals & Selection Process

This program is part-time and entirely remote. Artists and other creatives selected are at all stages in their careers and work in the digital arts, data science, technology, or research spaces.

This program's goal is to support and invest in individuals at the cutting edge in their fields, whose work will impact the cultural landscape in the universe or metaverse by providing the support and opportunity to take their work to the next level: to explore and experiment.

The selection criteria are:

Past work and experience
Readiness to engage with, and benefit from the residency experience
Commitment to the labs - projects and experimentations

The selection process involves:

Reviews of applications by members of the Labs on an ongoing basis
Evaluation of the materials sent and selection of finalists
Finalists are invited to present their work and their motivations in a 45 minutes interview (in-person or via Zoom)
