Australian Family Law Court Reform |
Family & Domestic Violence in Australia's Family Court
This survey should take 5-minutes to complete.
You are voluntarily providing information to a network of other parents who have been through the family court where family violence was a factor in their cases.
They want to bring reform and change to the Family Law Courts, specifically in relation to cases where FDV has been a factor. Statistical evidence will be presented to the Federal Attorney General, The Hon. Mark Dreyfus QC. All details will be kept confidential.
If you want to share your story you are asked to complete this final question. Our aim is not to have already deeply traumatised survivors re-tell their stories.

Section 121 provides very specific gag orders on those who have been in Family Court, and we hope that this process will also enable the gag to be lifted.
After you have completed the survey please contact your Federal MP and ask them to meet with you. Their likely response will be that they can't get involved in matters before the court.
The survey is basic, for now. Thank you for your help in brining up change, and if you need to reach out for support Lifeline 13 11 14.
Finally please share this with others in your network of survivors.
