We are looking for farmers from Queensland and New South Wales interested in participating in a 30-minute interview by phone or zoom. It will be anonymous and happen at a time to suit you.  

The goal is to better assist farmers by understanding how you choose electricity tariffs, helping to reduce costs on-farm. The study also aims to promote the greater inclusion of farmers’ needs in the design of more flexible tariffs.

By completing this Expression of Interest form, I acknowledge the following in relation to the incentives available for participating:

Each person who is selected and completes the phone or zoom interview will receive:
·         A $40 gift voucher.
·         One entry in a draw to receive a $500 payment off their power bill.

The draw for the $500 power bill payment will be conducted at the QFF Head Office by the Chief Executive Officer as follows:
1.       The name or reference number of each farm that has completed the phone or zoom interview will be printed separately and added to a container such that they can’t be individually identified and each has an equal chance of being drawn.
2.       Two names will be drawn at random by the Chief Executive Officer in the presence of a member of the Research project team.
3.       The winners will be contacted and notified that they have won.
4.       QFF will make an online bill payment of $500 off one power bill in the name of the winner.
5.       No substitute is available. For example, QFF will not provide cash or gift cards of an equivalent value in lieu of a power bill payment.
