Across New Zealand, communities impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle and recent flooding events are beginning the transition from state of emergency to recovery. We have seen the perseverance, care, and compassion of frontline healthcare teams during the emergency phase. These healthcare teams now need support through the recovery phase with feet on the ground.

Hauora Taiwhenua is working with Te Whatu Ora to relieve the pressure on these healthcare teams by sourcing and placing general practitioners, rural hospital doctors, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses into cyclone impacted regions.
