Call for Presenters - Expression of Interest

TasCOSS is pleased to invite interested individuals and organisations to submit an Expression of Interest to present at the TasCOSS Conference 2025, Shaping our future together, to be held at the Tailrace Centre, Launceston from 12 – 13 August 2025.
The theme for the TasCOSS Conference 2025 is Shaping our future together, which will explore how we can shape the Tasmanian community services industry, and our state’s future, together.

EOI submissions close on 4 April 2025.

TasCOSS is committed to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion and ensuring that historically under-represented communities and topics are meaningfully represented at our conference. To help us ensure diverse perspectives are highlighted, please specify here if your presentation, or presenters represent historically under-represented communities and/or subjects. Examples include, but are not limited to; First Nations communities, black, indigenous and people of colour (BIPOC) communities, people with disabilities, LGBTQIA+ communities, people living on low incomes etc.

- By submitting a presenter EOI, the presenter acknowledges that they have read, understand and accepts these Terms and Conditions.

- Your EOI submission must be submitted on time, to be considered for the program of the TasCOSS Conference 2023.

- All accepted authors MUST register and pay to attend the conference. By submitting this EOI all presenters agree to this condition.

- TasCOSS will not provide support for accommodation, travel and expenses incurred in connection with being an approved presenter.

- By submitting an abstract the presenter agrees that they have all authorisations, permissions, approvals, licenses and consents required to submit the abstract and provide the presentation.

- Approved presenters authorise TasCOSS to use the presenter’s name, photograph, and biographical data submitted to TasCOSS for the purposes of the conference.

- TasCOSS reserves the right at any time to: change the format, content, location, timing or any other aspect of the conference; postpone the conference or any part of the conference; or cancel the conference or any part of the conference, by providing written notice to approved presenters in advance of such change, postponement or cancellation (to the extent reasonably practicable).

- All presentations during the conference must include the same content and follow the same outline as that described in the submitted and accepted presentation submission.

- TasCOSS reserves the right to accept, decline or revoke a presentation.
