Introduction

The draft Carer Recognition Bill 2022 was released for consultation by the Minister for Community Services and Development on 14 April 2022 . This was a commitment from the last election and is welcomed as a positive and necessary step to recognise the 1:6 Tasmanian people who are a carer.

It is important that you can have your say as a carer and share your thoughts about this draft Bill.
