We understand that the vast majority of Netball organisations in the Netball Family operate on a voluntary basis and don't have any paid employees. However, we realise that there could be some exceptions to this rule. If you do have paid employees (and pay more than the PAYE threshold), insurers must populate the Employers' Liability Tracing Office's database with your Employer Reference Number, as issued by the Inland Revenue.
The Employers' Liability Tracing Office has a duty to hold data on every employer’s Employer's Liability insurance to help those who have suffered injury or disease to identify the relevant insurer quickly and efficiently. Please note that our insurers are not able to provide Employers’ Liability cover if information is missing from this database. Therefore, for your registered netball organisation to be covered by England Netball's programme of insurance*, please complete the survey below and provide your Employer Reference Number (ERN) unless exempt, as detailed below:

a. Organisation has no paid employees
b. All employees earn below PAYE threshold
c. The entity is not registered in England, Wales, Scotland

Additional Information is available from the Employers Liability Tracing Office website here.
