Introduction

The construction industry in Minnesota is challenged with getting, and retaining new young workers, especially with local competition. BLD Connection and Project Build Minnesota want to create a sustainable plan to get more young people interested and involved. We need your help by taking a short survey to make sure our plan is effective.

Project Build could best help our industry by generating broad interest and enthusiasm for careers in construction within the next generation (marketing and promotion to parents, teachers, counselors, coaches, students).

Project Build could best help our industry by creating opportunities for the next generation to learn and in construction skill development to inspire them to pursue future careers in the construction (career interest programming) - such as site tours, job shadows, or guest speakers in career and technical education (CTE) classes.
