The Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness (SREE) is committed to promoting equity and accessibility in our professional community. The 2023 SREE Conference Attendance Grants have been established to assist members who are experiencing financial limitations, with the goal of making it easier for them to attend the annual conference held this year in Baltimore, MD from September 18-21.
Funding:
Awardees can be granted up to $1,000 in registration and travel assistance. The award can be used to cover any of the following: the conference registration fees, SREE membership fees, travel to and from the conference, and accommodation during the conference.
For travel and accommodations, applicants will be reimbursed upon submission of receipts post-conference. Applicants are asked to estimate their travel costs in their application.

Individuals that do not have institutional and/or grant support to attend conferences are eligible to apply. Individuals from traditionally underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply, including but not limited to:
- Students
- Early Career Researchers & Junior Faculty
- Public service employees & local educators
- Anyone identifying with a racial/ethnic group that is traditionally underrepresented in the scientific workforce
