MSBA Appellate Practice Section - Mentorship Program | Law Student Survey 2022 |
2022-2023 School Year
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Appellate Practice Mentorship Program! The mentorship program is organized by the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Section, and seeks to support and encourage students of all backgrounds, identities, viewpoints, and beliefs to pursue careers in appellate litigation.
Through the program, students will be matched with appellate practitioners with the expectation that they will meet with their mentor at least twice in the semester. Mentors can help students in many ways, including understanding what an appellate practice looks like, choosing relevant coursework, developing the skills and experiences that pertain to appellate practice, and preparing to apply for clerkships.
To sign up as a mentee, please complete this form. Pairings will be made in Fall 2022.
Thank you!
