CACEA's Integrated Design (IDP) Facilitation Training is an interactive training program that will provide an overview of IDP, facilitation and communication best practices, IDP toolsets, and real-time IDP facilitation experience.
Applicants are required to attend all of the following mandatory training modules and complete homework assignments as required:
- MODULE 1: Overview and Introduction of the Integrated Design Process (IDP) (July 14 @ 12-1 pm EDT)
- MODULE 2: IDP Facilitation and Communication * (July 28 & 29 @ 12:30-2 pm EDT each day)
- MODULE 3: IDP Documentation * (August 5 @ 12-1 pm EDT)
- MODULE 4: IDP Session Observed by Participant * (Timing depends on the availability of the instructors' IDP sessions)
- MODULE 5: IDP Session Observed by IDP Expert * (Timing depends on the availability of the students' IDP sessions)
This program is a pilot project. Participation is limited in number. Priority will be given to B.C. residents and experienced CACEA members for this pilot. Additional training dates may be available depending on demand.

Registration Fee:
CACEA Member: $2,000 + 5% GST / CACEA Non-member**: $2,500 + 5% GST
Fees include 5 hours of virtual "classroom" instruction with IDP experts, "The IDP Handbook" (includes slide decks, added content, resources, checklists, templates and exampled); up to 4-hours hands-on IDP Facilitation experience and a certificate of participation recognized by industry stakeholders (must complete the full program).

NOTE: Residents of British Columbia (B.C.) are eligible for $2,100 subsidy from our partners BC Housing, BC Hydro and Fortis BC. BC residents and experienced CACEA members will be given priority to participate in this pilot.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION: July 21, 2021 at 12:00 pm EDT. You will be advised by July 23 if your application has been accepted with a link for payment. You must be paid in full by July 26 by 5:00pm EDT.
Cancellation Policy: There are no cancellations as of July 23. Registered participants who do not complete the program will be asked to pay all or part of the subsidy provided.
