The public can watch the meetings live at: https://www.cookcountyil.gov/service/watch-live-board-proceedings. Public viewing of the meeting will also be available via a big screen at 69 West Washington, Chicago, IL, 22nd floor Conference Room F.

The public can still testify at all Meetings. There are three methods for providing testimony: Live Remote Testimony, in-person, County Board Room, County Building, 118 N. Clark Street, Chicago, IL, or Written Testimony. The form to testify is found below.

TESTIMONY GUIDELINES
  • Registration to provide live remote or in-person testimony is online and will close 24 HOURS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED START OF THE MEETING. No registrations to speak will be accepted after that time.
  • Speakers must provide a name and a valid e-mail address (if testifying virtually). PLEASE VERIFY ACCURACY. WE WILL NOT CALL TO CONFIRM THIS INFORMATION. Failure to provide all of these will result in your registration being converted to written testimony only.
  • In-person public speaking will take place at the start of the meeting in the County Board Room, 118 N. Clark Street, Chicago, IL. For virtual testimony, on or around 9 a.m. Central Time on the morning of the meeting, a Microsoft Teams link and phone number to join the meeting will be sent to all live (virtual) speakers.
  • You may not log into the meeting until the schedule meeting time.
  • You may not forward the link to anyone. To reduce the chance of meeting disruption, MEETING PARTICIPANTS WHO FORWARD LINKS WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE MEETING, AS WILL THOSE WHO RECEIVED THE FORWARDED LINK.
  • Speaking order is to be determined by the Chair. Both in-person and virtual speakers will have three (3) minutes to make your statement. Once your statement is completed, you will be removed from the meeting.
  • Once removed, you will still be able to follow the proceedings for that day at: https://www.cookcountyil.gov/service/watch-live-board-proceedings or at 69 West Washington, Chicago, IL, 22nd floor Conference Room F.
