Survey

Thank you for your willingness to participate in this survey.

This survey is aimed at native speakers of English aged 18–40. In this questionnaire, we will first ask you to assess:

1) How do you feel after reading a given sentence? Are your emotions positive, negative, or quite neutral?
2) How strong is the emotional arousal you experience after reading the sentence?

At the end, we will ask for some basic demographic information.

The survey is part of a scientific project funded by the National Science Centre (OPUS, 2020/37/B/HS6/00610), conducted at the Faculty of English, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

Participation in this study is voluntary and informed. You may decline to participate or withdraw from the study at any time without facing any consequences.

The survey is completely anonymous, and the results will be confidential. Your data will not be shared in any way that could identify you and will be processed solely for scientific purposes.

If you have any questions, please contact the project's principal investigator (Dr. Rafał Jończyk, Faculty of English, AMU, rafal.jonczyk@amu.edu.pl).

The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
