Handy Person Scheme. Redbridge did have a service up until recently provided by the HEET Handy Person Scheme, doing odd jobs for older people. Unfortunately, this scheme has now shut down, due to lack of funding and has left a big void in the borough. Age UK RBH is considering the possibility of trying to offer a similar service, if able to gain funding. Your feedback will provide insight to the demand and the type of service required. The project aims to provide affordable, reliable help for small tasks around the home, such as repairs, assembly and maintenance.
