Thank you for being interested in being a mentee in the 2024-2025 American College of Surgeons Young Fellows Association Annual Mentor Program. Please complete the following application.
Mentoring teams are made up of three people:
Early career surgeon – an Associate Fellow (an ACS member out of training, but not yet FACS) who traditionally will serve as a mentee in this triad relationship
Mid-level career surgeon – a Young Fellow (an ACS Fellow under the age of 45) who might serve as a mentor to the early career surgeon and a mentee alongside an advanced professional
Advanced professional or retiree – an ACS Fellow who has practiced for more than 10 years
Early career surgeon – an Associate Fellow (an ACS member out of training, but not yet FACS) who traditionally will serve as a mentee in this triad relationship
Mid-level career surgeon – a Young Fellow (an ACS Fellow under the age of 45) who might serve as a mentor to the early career surgeon and a mentee alongside an advanced professional
Advanced professional or retiree – an ACS Fellow who has practiced for more than 10 years
Mentees may be Early Career Surgeons or Mid-level career surgeons
The Kick-Off meeting will occur on Sunday, October 20, 2024, during the ACS 2024 Clinical Congress at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, CA. The meeting is scheduled from 10:45 am – to 11:30 am.
