Student Demographic

YouthCity Government provides Salt Lake City high school students with the opportunity to learn about the political process and cultivate leadership skills. YouthCity Government members work with local elected officials, community leaders, and administrators to create policy and community change. Members also participate in community events and volunteer opportunities!

IMPORTANT: YCG is a weekly commitment on Tuesdays from 4-5 PM at Salt Lake City Hall for the entirety of the school year. If you can commit, please fill out the application below.
